• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• Knowledge of hardware security mechanisms, including secure boot and trusted execution environments
• Knowledge of operating system internals, with emphasis on Linux and common RTOS environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in system-level threat modeling, secure code reviews, and cryptography
• Experience using scripting languages, such as Python, Perl, or Linux bash
• Experience with hardware, system, and network security, including the use of cryptography

• Help guide the secure development of devices at Amazon, from security design to code reviews and testing
• Propose, research, and develop tools and techniques to improve the security posture of devices
• Provide technical security expertise and consultation to device product teams
• Identify security risks and work with product engineers to create mitigations
