In this role, you will apply your fire protection expertise to the design and maintenance of fire protection systems for data centers. You will work with a diverse team of engineers to ensure that facilities meet safety standards and protect customer data. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance fire protection design standards and improve operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.

• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience, or 2+ years of construction or project management experience.
• 5+ years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission critical facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Licensed Fire Protection Engineer.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.

• Design and oversee fire water service infrastructure, including water supply analysis and coordination with utilities.
• Review concept designs and construction documents from third-party vendors for compliance with established standards.
• Prepare prescriptive and performance-based designs for fire suppression, alarm, and detection systems.
• Collaborate with construction, commissioning, operations, and risk management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive improvement of fire protection design standards and standard configuration templates across the organization.
