The Principal Software Engineer will lead cross-organizational initiatives within the Devices Global Retail Tech organization, focusing on financial systems automation and product development acceleration. This role involves architecting Gen AI-powered solutions that enhance financial record-keeping capabilities across various Devices and Services businesses. The engineer will work on complex problems, establish technical standards, and drive the overall architecture for innovative products. Collaboration with multiple teams is essential to ensure compliance and efficiency in financial systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of software development experience, including designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems.
• Expert knowledge of performance, scalability, and enterprise system architecture.
• Experience serving as a technical leader across product and tech teams, driving architecture and technical strategy.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration frameworks and AWS services including Bedrock and Amazon Q.
• Experience in FinTech, metering, billing, and payments financial enterprise systems with strong compliance, accuracy, and auditability requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior technical and business stakeholders.
