The role is focused on developing large-scale, low-latency distributed systems for conversational ad experiences at Amazon. The Conversational Ad Experiences team aims to enhance shopping through LLM-powered sponsored advertising. This position involves collaboration with product managers, applied scientists, and engineers to drive innovative product and engineering initiatives. The team is dedicated to re-imagining advertising through generative AI technologies, aiming to transform how customers engage with products and brands.

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, low-latency distributed systems for conversational ad experiences.
• Build and integrate sponsored prompt experiences for shoppers and advertisers using LLMs.
• Partner with product managers, applied scientists, and engineers to drive product and engineering initiatives end to end.
• Tackle challenging, novel situations and collaborate with multiple technical teams across Amazon.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and participate in design and code reviews.
