• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Expert level skills in C++
• Experience with software libraries and tools for building robot applications
• 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
• Experience with robotic motion control systems and algorithms
• Experience with robotic operating environments like ROS

• Design, build, and own software components for robotics middleware, health monitoring, and fleet management.
• Lead the technical design and architecture of systems on a new robotics manipulation platform.
• Collaborate with peer robotics, hardware, and operations teams to define interfaces and resolve dependencies.
• Apply generative AI tools and techniques to automate workflows and improve developer productivity.
