As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, ensuring they meet evolving customer needs. You will collaborate with diverse teams to enhance safety, security, and efficiency while managing engineering projects. This role involves troubleshooting, conducting root cause analysis, and developing innovative solutions for data centers. You will also act as a resident engineer during new construction projects and lead engineering audits.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ cumulative years of experience with industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering
• Must have a valid US driver's license and reliable personal transportation
• Experience as a resident engineer or hands-on design consultant
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment related to data centers
• Possess data analytics skills and comfort with working in vast amounts of data

• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis for site and equipment failures
• Support operational issues with training and complex operating procedure reviews
• Own the conceptual design for data center upgrades and design solutions
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS's data centers
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, producing reports with risks and mitigations
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects and support commissioning
