• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Own the technical architecture of critical components within the new defensive security platform, ensuring scalability, low-latency, and resilience.
• Drive the AI-first approach by identifying opportunities to apply machine learning and intelligent automation to workflows.
• Make high-judgment technical trade-offs across distributed systems, evaluating build vs. buy and selecting architectures.
• Influence the product roadmap in partnership with product and security leadership to define what is built and its impact.
• Set engineering standards for operational excellence, security, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
• Mentor and elevate engineers while fostering a culture of curiosity and ownership.
• Navigate ambiguity and drive alignment by synthesizing diverse perspectives and making data-driven decisions.
• Own end-to-end delivery of production systems, including design, build, test, deploy, and operate.
