As a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Reliability Engineer, you will serve as the primary contact for internal customers and vendors, focusing on developing structured maintenance strategies to enhance equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs. The role emphasizes building productive relationships and utilizing data from various tools to support reliability initiatives. You will lead projects aimed at maximizing equipment effectiveness and ensuring safety and sustainability. Frequent travel to facilities across North America is expected.

• 3+ years of experience as an industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• Experience in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 2+ years of Amazon RME experience.
• Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs.
• Familiarity with performance metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Experience managing third-party vendors.
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques.

• Lead reliability initiatives to maximize equipment overall effectiveness.
• Capture best practices and roll out network/business unit strategies.
• Develop and own programs that improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Utilize advanced project management tools to manage projects from concept to rollout.
• Build feedback into the design process to enhance safety and sustainability.
