Apple is looking for a Reliability Engineer to join the Mac Hardware Reliability team. This role involves collaborating with various hardware teams to ensure products are durable and reliable, exceeding industry standards. The engineer will lead cross-functional teams, design innovative reliability tests, and drive continuous product improvements. A focus on characterizing product usage patterns and coordinating design validation efforts is essential to ensure high standards for customer experience.

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, materials engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or related fields with 7+ years of industry experience.
• M.S. or PhD in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in statistical data analysis and familiarity with statistical tools such as Weibull and JMP.
• Strong theoretical knowledge in physical failure analysis techniques, including SEM/EDX/X-Ray.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
