The Principal DDI and Automation Network Engineer will be responsible for managing Fidelity's DDI infrastructure, which includes both on-prem and cloud-based systems. This role requires a strong focus on automation to reduce manual efforts and improve service delivery. The DDI Engineering team is part of the Data Center and Network Services, dedicated to global network engineering and support. The position involves mentoring team members and ensuring the availability of network services.

• A minimum of 4-6 years of network and DDI experience.
• Senior level automation experience using Python and Ansible Tower.
• Experience in Infoblox and DNS.
• Ability to mentor and help develop engineering team in automation.
• Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, including application knowledge.
• Experience with Linux and scripting.
• Skilled verbally and with presenting to senior team members on strategic idea innovations.
• Network Certifications a plus but not required.
• SNOW development experience a plus.

• Manage and design Fidelity DDI infrastructure, on-prem and at CSPs.
• Build and deploy new automation solutions and troubleshoot existing automation.
• Resolve complex issues related to DDI environments and participate in on-call rotation.
• Document complex technologies and topologies based on security-based practices.
• Assist in troubleshooting network issues.
• Work closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability of Network Services.
• Manage the life cycle for various technologies within the space, including vendor management.
