As a Principal Data Modeler at Fidelity, you will leverage your extensive data modeling skills to support Workplace Investments. You will be responsible for creating scalable and well-documented data models that align with the company's data strategy. The WI Data Engineering Data Modeling team focuses on building resilient data solutions and collaborates closely with various teams to ensure high-quality data governance. This role emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and professional growth within a dynamic environment.

• 8-10+ years of experience in conceptual, logical, physical, relational, dimensional, and 3NF data modeling for enterprise OLTP and analytical platforms.
• Strong SQL skills, preferably ANSI SQL.
• Experience with modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, Oracle Designer, or similar.
• Knowledge of data architecture, governance, metadata, and data quality practices.
• Ability to influence collaborators and translate business requirements into effective data models.

• Apply hands-on data modeling skills across important business and technology initiatives.
• Guide technical decisions and define modeling standards.
• Support modernization projects and legacy data migration.
• Work independently across multiple agile engineering teams.
