The position requires a self-motivated and passionate electrical engineer who will be part of a hands-on development team focused on engineering excellence and innovation. Collaboration across teams is essential for success, and the role emphasizes delivering high-quality silicon IPs. The engineer will engage in various aspects of analog IC design and validation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design.
- Solid understanding and experience in bandgaps, bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, low power oscillators, PLLs, VGAs, feedback and compensation techniques.
- In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal design techniques.
- Experience in C/Matlab/VerilogA/Python modeling.
- Good knowledge of high precision techniques in the presence of device mismatch.
- Experience in design for ESD compliance and safety.
- Experience in ASIC design in different application fields.
Responsibilities
- Work on transistor level IC design implementation for Apple Silicon in different technology nodes.
- Deliver silicon IPs with complete architecture, design, verification, and validation experience.
- Understand top-level verification methods incorporating block level schematics and behavioral models.
- Use spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators to validate analog designs.
- Collaborate with Digital Design and Physical Design teams for chip integration.
- Work with production test engineers to produce test plans and design for testability details.
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life.
