Elumine is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to develop new GenAI products for investment research within Fidelity Labs. This role involves collaborating with Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams to create scalable cloud infrastructure solutions and architect application microservices. The Principal Platform Engineer will drive technical decisions and ensure the delivery of maintainable solutions. The position offers a dynamic startup environment backed by the resources of Fidelity.

• 6+ years of Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps experience with AWS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security groups, VPCs, load balancers, and DNS management.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Strong Linux system administration skills and containerization experience with ECS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Implement and manage containerized applications using EKS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Design and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of applications.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security across all environments using observability tools.
• Automate operational tasks and establish SLAs/SLOs.
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, and post-mortem analysis.
• Contribute to FastAPI/Python based engineering and development of new application services.
