Apple is seeking a passionate Web Accessibility Engineer to join the Online Store Frontend Team. This role focuses on ensuring accessibility across various projects, emphasizing the importance of making technology accessible to all users. The engineer will work collaboratively with multiple teams to audit and enhance both internal and external solutions. A strong commitment to accessibility as a fundamental right is essential for this position.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of WCAG 2.x guidelines and WAI-ARIA.
• In-depth knowledge and practical experience of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of macOS and iOS VoiceOver and other accessibility features.
• Strong first-hand experience testing with assistive technologies such as VoiceOver, JAWS, and NVDA.

• Audit new and existing internal and external solutions for accessibility.
• Work with teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project on new features and solutions.
• Liaise and coordinate with various functions to promote accessibility.
• Provide accessible code solutions using web technologies.
• Review designs and copy for accessibility.
