The Apple Service Engineering (ASE) team is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance compute infrastructure that supports Apple's services. This role focuses on ensuring that services scale effectively to meet the demands of Apple's offerings. The engineer will work on core components of Apple's Cloud Platform, emphasizing VM lifecycle management and bare metal infrastructure. This position also involves leveraging AI-assisted automation to improve operational workflows and infrastructure tooling.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an engineering-related field, with an advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering Infrastructure focused role.
• Strong experience with building and scaling cloud infrastructure and large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or Python.
• Expert-level proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Chef, Ansible, or Terraform.
