The Network Engineer for Data Center Management at Google will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of Google's extensive network infrastructure. This position involves designing and managing data center networks while acting as a Site Reliability Engineer. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience with network routing protocols, design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network equipment providers.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, or Python.

• Design data center management networks and act as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) for a set of networks.
• Engage in and improve the whole life-cycle of networks from inception and design to deployment and optimization.
• Scale systems sustainably through automation and push for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Analyze requirements or potential problems and proactively develop solutions and policy recommendations.
• Partner with internal application groups to design network infrastructure that meets their networking requirements.
