• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 8 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security, and security protocols.
• 8 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in people management.

• Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of security engineers dedicated to safeguarding Google Cloud.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for the Cloud Abuse Security Engineering team.
• Guide the architectural direction and engineering efforts in researching new detection techniques.
• Act as a strategic partner to Google Cloud product teams and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the lifecycle of internal tools and infrastructure used to collect and analyze abuse reports and threat intelligence data.
