The Agentic AI Software Engineering Manager will lead a specialized team within the People Operations Engineering (POps Eng) at Google. This role focuses on building autonomous systems and intelligence infrastructure that enhance the Google workforce lifecycle. The manager will set technical goals and guide the application of advanced AI and LLM research to create resilient, low-latency production systems. This position requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to manage engineers across multiple teams and locations.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in managing and developing managers.
• 8 years of experience designing software architecture for applications, including AI/ML systems.
• 8 years of experience building and architecting ML systems and infrastructure.
• 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

• Direct the goal and execution for agentic AI architectures, applying modeling techniques and custom classifiers.
• Lead, grow, and mentor a highly specialized team of experienced AI/ML software engineers.
• Bridge applied AI research and production deployment by overseeing engineers driving fine-tuning and reward model alignment.
• Leverage telemetry and benchmarks to improve product excellence and engineering execution velocity.
• Partner closely with developers, product managers, and internal business owners to identify productivity bottlenecks.
