The Customer Engineer for Platform, SAISV at Google Cloud will partner with technical sales teams to enhance customer engagement and drive technical solutions. This role involves understanding customer challenges and architecting cloud solutions that address their needs. The engineer will serve as a trusted advisor, facilitating technical discussions and troubleshooting issues. The position requires a blend of sales acumen, technical expertise, and the ability to present solutions effectively to both technical and business leaders.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

• Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participating in planning and supporting focused sales motions.
• Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture knowledge to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform through demos, pilots, and workshops.
• Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers.
• Facilitate the post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams.
• Maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration, or implementation phases.
