The Payroll Lead Analyst is a strategic professional responsible for managing multiple payroll teams and ensuring effective performance within the payroll function. This role requires strong communication and diplomacy skills to influence and guide colleagues and external customers. The analyst will also strategize with various departments to establish project priorities and manage the department's budget. Overall, this position has a significant impact on the performance and effectiveness of the payroll area.

• 6-10 years of experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management.
• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.

• Manage multiple payroll teams or a functional area depending on the size of the business.
• Advise senior management regarding the performance of assigned payroll area(s).
• Strategize with outside departments and customers to establish projects and priorities.
• Interact with all customers to develop key relationships and strategies for support.
• Manage department budget and cost activities.
• Evaluate subordinates' performance and make recommendations for pay increases, hiring, terminations, and other personnel actions.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards.
• Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation and compliance with applicable laws.
