Rivian is seeking an Audio Systems Test Integration Engineer to enhance the audio development process. This role focuses on managing the physical engineering environment and test infrastructure for the Audio Team. The engineer will design fixtures, manage vehicle software states, and maintain lab environments to support Electrical, Acoustical, and QA engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical CAD design, software updates, and hardware characterization.

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience in audio systems hardware product development or systems integration.
• Working knowledge of CATIA, NX, Solidworks or similar for mechanical design of test aids and fixtures.
• Proficiency with Klippel, SoundCheck, and Audio Precision (APx).
• A collaborative 'support-first' mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into physical test setups.

• Independently manage and resolve complex issues related to audio development benches and HIL rigs.
• Ensure benches are accurately provisioned with the latest in-house electronics and vehicle software.
• Lead the buildout, expansion, and maintenance of the audio lab facilities.
• Support the Electronics and Acoustics leads by performing characterizations of components using various test platforms.
• Utilize CAD software to design custom test fixtures and acoustic enclosures.
• Assist the Audio QA Engineer by executing established test suites on physical hardware.
• Work with a high degree of independence, maintaining lab safety, equipment calibration, and data integrity.
