The role involves optimizing code generation from models in ONNX or PyTorch for AIE VLIW processor arrays. • Strong object-oriented programming background in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with ML Compiler and Runtime technologies such as MLIR and LLVM
• Skills in compiler building and code generation for ML hardware accelerators
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and model development
• Understanding of frameworks like ONNX and PyTorch
• Ability to write high-quality code with attention to detail
• Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
• Knowledge of software development processes and tools such as debuggers and GitHub

• Integrate compiler and compiled model with ML Frameworks such as ONNX and PyTorch
• Implement model partitioning in ML Frameworks and/or MLIR
• Develop runtime to distribute work to and collect results from x86 cores and AIE cores
• Design and develop new groundbreaking AMD technologies
• Debug and fix existing issues while researching more efficient methods to accomplish tasks
