As a Staff Quality Engineer at Robinhood, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of new features through comprehensive test strategies and execution. You will work within a high-performing team dedicated to addressing significant financial challenges using advanced technologies. This position emphasizes collaboration and customer experience, particularly during critical product launches. The role is based in Menlo Park, requiring in-person attendance at least three days a week.

• Proven experience testing mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications in fast-paced product environments.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, test case development, and test execution.
• Hands-on experience with UI automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Comfort with scripting languages such as Python or Java and test infrastructure tools.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira and test case management tools like TestRail.
• Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset.

• Own the quality of new features, including test planning, execution, and feedback throughout the development cycle.
• Define and implement test strategies for P0 product launches, including both frontend and backend validation.
• Perform manual and automated testing, with a focus on end-to-end functionality.
• Automate mobile/web end-to-end test cases.
• Build test coverage that accurately reflects the user experience, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
