The Solutions Engineer Intern role at Pinterest focuses on bridging engineering, data, and the advertising ecosystem. • Current enrollment in a school or education program working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Obtain Bachelor's in Computer Science or related technical field by June 2028.
• Foundational understanding of programming concepts, debugging, and testing.
• Experience writing and debugging code in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
• Clear communication of technical thinking and effective collaboration with teammates.
• Comfort working with structured data in tables or CSV files and using spreadsheets.
• Experience using AI tools to support learning, research, or technical problem-solving.

• Complete assigned technical projects with attention to quality, incorporating feedback from mentors and peers.
• Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end that contribute to Pinterest products and infrastructure.
• Build, test, debug, and improve code, scripts, automations, internal tools, or data workflows.
• Investigate technical issues using logs, data, documentation, and structured troubleshooting.
• Participate in scheduled engineering on-call coverage during regular workdays.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Support teams to understand requirements.
• Help improve reporting, monitoring, documentation, sample code, or support processes.
• Use approved AI tools to accelerate research, coding, analysis, and documentation.
