Qualcomm is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer with expertise in the Android platform and on-device AI frameworks. The role focuses on developing and supporting embedded and cloud software solutions for advanced mobile use cases. Candidates will have the opportunity to prototype and design features for the Android Platform stack, integrating on-device AI technologies. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience with development of Object-Oriented Software using C++, Java, or Rust.
• Solid understanding of Operating System Concepts and Concurrency.
• Strong proficiency in using git for software development.
• 3+ years of experience working with embedded Linux and/or Android.
• Experience in Android SDK, NDK, and Android OS concepts and architecture.
• Familiarity with on-device AI runtimes like TFLite and PyTorch edge.
• 3+ years of industry experience developing using Modern C++ (C++14 or newer) and/or Java, Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Python for AI/ML related software development.
• Debugging skills and experience in software bring-up and analyzing crash dumps.

• Prototype, design, and develop embedded and cloud software solutions.
• Add features to the Android Platform stack, including the Application Layer, Middleware, and Native.
• Integrate on-device LLMs and on-device vector databases.
• Support commercialization of software solutions for mobile use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in mobile computing.
