As a Senior Production Engineer at Databricks, you will contribute to the reliability and scalability of real-time products such as Lakebase, Neon, and Model Serving. You will build advanced monitoring and incident mitigation tools while collaborating with various engineering teams. The role emphasizes improving service reliability and operational efficiency across multiple cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your work will directly impact customer success by ensuring a robust and secure production environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Production Engineering, Customer Reliability Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure engineering, backend software engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in holistic monitoring and alerting of complex stateful systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or related managed databases or distributed systems.
• Experience in incident management and participating in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure.
• Strong programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Go, Java, Scala, or similar.

• Build advanced monitoring and detection capabilities for early warning of issues.
• Develop reliable automation for debugging and incident mitigation.
• Improve service reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
