As a Qualcomm Cellular Technologies Software Engineer, you will be part of a team that designs and implements state-of-the-art cellular technologies. Your work will involve developing high-quality air interface and modem software that meets industry standards. You will contribute to the PHY layer modem firmware and engage in DSP low-level programming. The role also includes collaborating with integration teams to develop efficient test methodologies for modem DSP firmware.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with DSP Intrinsics/ASM, C, Python, and real-time operating systems.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, SIMD optimization, and signal processing/communication theory.
• Experience in multi-threaded programming.

• Assist in the design, standardization, implementation, verification, validation, and commercialization of wireless WAN air interfaces and modem technologies.
• Design, optimize, and implement software for wireless systems and modems.
• Collaborate with team members to develop high-quality air interfaces and modems with high performance.
• Develop unit test cases to test and verify code for well-defined components.
• Write technical documentation and feature descriptions to guide users in implementing output.
