The Data Engineer - Manager role at EY involves leading a team in the Service Delivery Center to deliver technology solutions for financial services clients. This position focuses on building scalable data platforms, pipelines, and cloud applications while ensuring data governance and quality. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in data engineering, data architecture, and cloud data platforms.
• Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake and enterprise data platform development.
• Strong experience with ETL, streaming, and integration technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, and Kafka.
• Expertise in data modeling, SQL, database design, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Python, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Own end-to-end enterprise data architecture and technology roadmaps across complex, enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Establish data modeling, metadata, lineage, governance, quality, and observability standards.
• Lead cross-team decisions, modernization efforts, dependencies, and technical risk.
• Influence senior client and internal stakeholders by communicating technical direction and trade-offs.
• Mentor and develop technical leaders and engineers, providing coaching and career guidance.
• Define reusable standards and drive organizational capability improvement.
• Champion data quality, security, testing, and automation standards across the teams.
