Arcadis is seeking an entry-level Environmental Engineer to join their Resilience Environment team in Sacramento, CA, starting in May/June 2027. The role involves supporting environmental assessment and remediation projects, focusing on emerging contaminants and remediation capabilities. Candidates will work alongside experienced professionals and engage in both field and office tasks. This position emphasizes strong organizational skills and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field
• Strong organizational and team building skills

• Participate in field investigations, sampling activities, and pilot programs
• Provide program support for a diverse portfolio of projects
• Oversee operation and maintenance of remediation systems
• Conduct soil and groundwater investigation and sample collection
• Engage in site characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
• Compile and evaluate data, ensuring quality assurance and quality control
• Write reports and support permitting and cost estimating
• Coordinate with project managers and senior engineering staff
• Support emergency response teams for unforeseen incidents
