The RF System Test Engineer at Qualcomm will be part of the RF System Test team, which validates modem, RF, and antenna subsystems for cellular connectivity across various devices. This role focuses on defining, automating, executing, and analyzing validation strategies for advanced wireless technologies, including 5G NR. Engineers are expected to leverage AI-assisted workflows to enhance productivity and accelerate validation cycles. The position requires collaboration with multiple teams to ensure product quality and compliance with standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or a PhD.
• 2+ years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of wireless communication systems and RF fundamentals.
• Experience with 3GPP cellular technologies and RF measurements.

• Define, implement, and execute RF system validation strategies across modem software and RF hardware.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to verify wireless functionality and performance.
• Analyze test results and identify root causes of failures in modem software and RF subsystems.
• Collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and integration teams to resolve issues.
• Design and improve automated regression and qualification methodologies for software releases.
• Interpret and apply 3GPP specifications to ensure accurate test coverage.
• Execute and analyze RF measurements including transmitter and receiver performance.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for test development and log analysis.
• Develop scripts and tools to enhance test efficiency and engineering workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and validation methodologies.
