The Principal Technical Program Manager for AI Supercomputer Operations will lead operational programs for Microsoft's critical AI training supercomputers. This role involves partnering with strategic AI customers and engineering teams to ensure the reliability and operational excellence of large-scale AI workloads. The position requires a highly cross-functional approach, focusing on infrastructure availability, incident management, and operational readiness. The successful candidate will drive improvements in observability, automation, and operational processes across the Azure supercomputing fleet.

• Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Lead end-to-end operations for large-scale AI training supercomputers, establishing priorities and accountability.
• Drive successful execution of critical AI training workloads by identifying infrastructure risks and coordinating teams.
• Serve as a trusted operational partner to strategic AI customers, building strong relationships and communicating clearly.
• Deliver against customer and SLA commitments using operational and reliability metrics.
• Lead response and recovery for complex infrastructure issues to mitigate customer impact.
• Turn operational learnings into scalable solutions to improve operational processes across the Azure supercomputing fleet.
