The Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern will support the delivery of innovative projects in Cary, North Carolina. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems, or Chemical Engineering. Interns will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and scientists, gaining valuable mentorship and hands-on experience. The focus will be on water and wastewater treatment projects, contributing to solutions that address critical environmental challenges.

• Enrollment in a degree-seeking program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems, or Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous intern experience with a consulting or engineering firm is preferred.
• Relevant coursework or projects related to water/wastewater engineering.
• EIT certification or on track to obtain it.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

• Assist with field investigations, design, and studies for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Conduct evaluations, design, and commissioning of water treatment facility pilots.
• Collaborate with team members on various water/wastewater treatment, conveyance, storage, and water resources projects.
