Jacobs is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to join the Ports and Maritime team in Bellevue, Washington for Summer 2027. This role involves working on innovative engineering projects that address client challenges in both the private and public sectors. Interns will engage in a variety of tasks that combine theoretical knowledge with practical application under the guidance of experienced professionals. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and analysis of various structural systems, including marine structures and infrastructure projects.

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Assist in the preparation of structural calculations, designs, contract drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and construction schedules.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and drawing/specification packages for conformance with contract documents.
• Learn and engage in the design of maritime structures from urban waterfront parks to ports supporting offshore wind farm developments.
