Jacobs Civil Consultants, Inc is seeking a Civil Engineer Professional to join their New York office. The role focuses on conducting systems modeling for rail and track projects, preparing design layouts, and performing on-site inspections. The team is dedicated to solving critical transportation challenges and enhancing infrastructure. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule and requires domestic travel for project site visits.

• A Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field along with 1 year of work experience in the job offered or a related occupation is acceptable.
• Expertise in Trimble Realworks software for 3D laser scanning and point cloud analysis is preferred.
• OSHA 10 Safety Certification is required.

• Conduct systems modeling for rail and track projects using OpenTrack software.
• Prepare track design layout drawings for mega railway projects using Bentley OpenRoads.
• Conduct on-site assessments and evaluations of train facilities using Lidar 3D scanning.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders regarding right-of-way easements for mega rail projects.
• Support data analysis using PowerBI for creating the Major Programs strategy for the Americas East.
