The Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations team is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the technical direction of the user interface architecture for their products. This role involves collaborating with engineering, design, and product management to create modern and accessible user experiences. The engineer will influence the architecture for AI-enabled applications and mentor other engineers. This position is critical for shaping the foundational platform that supports millions of users.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.

• Own and lead the architecture and technical direction of the F&O UI layer.
• Lead the design of secure, compliant, reliable, performant, scalable, and accessible UI architecture.
• Partner closely with engineering, product management, and design teams to translate customer and product requirements into cohesive technical designs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, prototype new UI and interaction concepts, and establish technical direction for areas including MCP Apps and AI-enabled application experiences.
• Lead technical discussions and design reviews across teams, identify dependencies and architectural risks, and drive alignment on solutions and delivery.
• Mentor engineers, establish engineering best practices, and help teams build maintainable, testable, secure, and high-quality software.
