The Sr. Software Engineer role focuses on developing software and tools to support security design and technology platforms within the Microsoft Security Platform, Data Governance and Privacy team. This position emphasizes creating reliable, scalable systems for data privacy solutions while ensuring the highest security standards. The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to gather user requirements and incorporate feedback into future designs. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that enhance data privacy compliance and customer trust.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
• Citizenship verification due to legal restrictions supporting U.S. government agency customers.
• Ability to pass Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
