The Software Engineer role in Microsoft's Fabric Mirroring team focuses on designing, building, and operating a next-generation service for transferring large volumes of data with minimal latency. The team is part of the Azure Data engineering group, which aims to transform analytics and data integration. This position requires collaboration with various technologies to deliver high-quality products efficiently. The ideal candidate will contribute to advanced data movement and replication scenarios while ensuring user-friendly interfaces.

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or a Bachelor's Degree in the same field and 8+ years of experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale services or products.
• Experience leading complex cross-team initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud computing, system architecture, performance and scalability, and security and reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, C++, Python, Go, and Azure technologies.

• Lead by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code.
• Optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability.
• Review code to ensure it meets quality standards and is appropriate for the scale of the product.
• Lead discussions for the architecture of products and create proposals for architecture.
• Independently create a clear plan for testing and assuring quality of solutions.
• Drive identification of dependencies and develop design documents for products or services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align on user requirements and incorporate feedback.
