Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior GPU system and process scheduling architect to join their architecture team. This role focuses on designing the next generation GPU system interface, impacting various technology sectors including artificial intelligence and self-driving cars. The position offers the chance to work with a global team of experts, pushing the boundaries of technology. The architect will engage in both functional and performance modeling, as well as post-silicon validation activities.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Compute Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of meaningful work experience.
  • Experience coding in C or C++.
  • Coursework or industry experience in Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, and/or system architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Understand how the GPU sub-system modules interoperate and interact with the overall system.
  • Architect and plan features in collaboration with software, hardware, and verification teams globally.
  • Create functional and performance models, often in C++, along with test plans to validate the designed features.
  • Actively support post-silicon validation activities.

Benefits

  • Employees at NVIDIA are often offered comprehensive, day-one benefits—including medical, dental, and vision coverage with HSA support, life and disability insurance, an Employee Assistance Program, and a 401(k) with auto-enrollment. Many roles also have generous time off and holidays, donation matching (up to $10,000), and a wide menu of extras like FSAs, commuter benefits, legal and identity-theft protection, pet insurance, and wellness discounts. Optional programs can include student-loan and home-purchase support, plus family care resources and expert medical services.
