The Senior Security Developer in the Google Threat Intelligence Group is responsible for enhancing the security posture of Google's systems and data. This role involves conducting research on threat actors and their methodologies, as well as developing automation to improve threat detection and response. The team focuses on creating safer systems by identifying vulnerabilities and collaborating with software developers to mitigate risks. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership in a dynamic cybersecurity environment.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
• 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SQL or Python to support automating tasks and interacting with data programmatically.

• Conduct and lead research into how threat actors are using and abusing AI models.
• Monitor and analyze threat activity across the Google Threat Intelligence Group's prioritized data sources.
• Hunt for threat actor activity across data sources and develop automatable signal logic.
• Develop scripts and other automations to collect and process subsets of data for intelligence analysis.
• Identify opportunities to disrupt, mitigate, and remediate threat activity in available systems.
